OUR MISSION:
www.SealsHurt.com was formed by a group of compassionate Canadians who 
represent the majority of Canadians who deplore the horror of the hunt. Our aim is to bring the truth about the barbaric hunt to the attention of our elected representatives and Canadians who do not yet understand the issue, with the hopes that the government will see fit to abolish the hunt. Over 250,000 of these beautiful and intelligent marine mammals are slaughtered before they even reach 3 months of age, their beautiful fur torn from their mutilated bodies, which are then discarded like garbage on the ice flows; unseeing eyes staring and hearts often still beating.
This is not an essential resource and is only carried out for fashion vanity.
Our Canadian Government has been warned for years about the cruelty of the hunt but chooses to ignore the evidence and responds only with erroneous propaganda.

The sealers filmed at work in these videos are seen consistently DISOBEYING REGULATIONS FOR HUMANE KILLING - RESULTING IN HORRIFIC SUFFERING FOR DEFENSELESS SEALS! They are seen to club seals repeatedly (often striking and fracturing noses, orbits, trunks and throats!!) and then knowingly leaving them to suffer and die a horrific death! They move on to club another seal without checking corneal blink reflex and/ or to palpate skull to ensure unconsciousness. Seals are only stunned, regain consciousness and struggle to escape but are caught and clubbed again.
